Camping Palme Runner Up ***

Camp Palme can be found near the fishing village of Kućište, 5 kilometres from the town of Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula. The campsite is a small three star camp that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Partly covered by Mediterranean foliage, camp Palme lies adjacent to a sandy beach. Its accommodation facilities include a range of 24 square metre mobile homes each with one bedroom, a toilet and bathroom, a kitchen and dining room. The campsite’s offer includes also a gas station and boat moorings. For recreation, children will love the playground, whilst adults can hire a bicycle or boat. About 100 metres from the campsite is a general goods store. The Channel of Pelješac is known for its frequent and strong north-western wind, ‘mistral’, which makes it an ideal location for windsurfing lovers, while the surrounding area offers a variety of interesting mountain bike trails and is suitable for scuba diving.
